Support Groups provide a forum to share feelings, concerns, information, and as a way of supporting and encouraging each other. Solicitations or research projects are not conducted at support group meetings.

We encourage you to call the Support Group Facilitator of the support group you are interested in attending, or the Alzheimer’s Association Southern Arizona regional office to confirm meeting times and locations.

These meetings consist of two separate concurrent groups. One groups is for individuals diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia and the other group is for the family caregiver. Both groups meet in the same area of the facility. It is important that the individual who is diagnosed be in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia and not a more progressive stage.
