Programs

The Alzheimer's Association Desert Southwest chapter provides a number of programs to help individuals and families affected by Alzheimer's disease. We help people at all stages of the disease, through providing simple information to intensive care management.

Please, click on the corresponding program listed to the left to learn more about how we can help you.

Care Consultation
The Family Care Consultation program provides individualized guidance to families and individuals to address immediate needs and planning for the future, with ongoing support throughout the course of the disease.

Education
We believe that knowledge empowers caregivers with the skills and courage necessary for providing the very best care. We provide opportunities to gain this knowledge through education sessions hosted throughout Southern Nevada.

Helpline
Call 1-800-272-3900 toll-free, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week, to speak confidentially with a trained Helpline specialist who will provide emotional support and appropriate referrals to local resources in your area.

Safe Return
Alzheimer's Association's Safe Return® is a nation-wide identification, support, education and enrollment program that provides assistance when a person with Alzheimer's or a related dementia wanders and becomes lost locally or far from home.

Support Groups
Support Groups provide a forum to share feelings, concerns, information, and as a way of supporting and encouraging each other. Solicitations or research projects are not conducted at support group meetings.
