As an organization, our vision is to end Alzheimer's disease in our lifetime. We strive to provide excellent, caring service to our constituents, and to educate the public and healthcare professionals about every aspect of Alzheimer's disease. We are a primary source of information, education and support to families, professionals, and the general community throughout Arizona and southern Nevada.

The battle is too big to fight alone. The Desert Southwest Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association is the leader in promoting AD/RD Research in Arizona. Since 1981, we have been working as a catalyst for progress, collaborating with doctors, social workers, researchers, policy makers, care facility administrators, and affected family members to advance knowledge and understanding about Alzheimer's disease.

Together, we are developing stronger programs, ensuring better care and getting closer to a world without Alzheimer's disease.

The funding to fulfill our mission comes from local individuals, corporations, grants and fund-raising events. All money raised here by the Desert Southwest Chapter, stays here, providing much-needed services to local families.
